It all began with a suitcase....a suitcase full of jewelry and a love to bring it to you. We got started by hosting home shows, then expanded to different locations around Lafayette; carrying all of our merchandise in a couple of suitcases. When the time was right, we put that jewelry in glass cases at our current location.
In July of 2003, we opened our door and have been serving Acadiana since. Whether you need a gift for a birthday, anniversary, wedding, baby or just because-we can help you out.
We have also been helping out brides and grooms since 2005 with our engraving services which we do in store, so it’s always a quick turnaround for you. Not only do we have a great selection of silver, glass and leather for you to engrave on but we also accept items not purchased from The Silver Suitcase. You are more than welcome to bring in a bottle of wine for that 25th Anniversary, the toasting flutes that your parents used for their wedding, or even an heirloom baby spoon.
