St. Clare of Assisi

Patroness of televisions, computer screens, eye disease, and laundry 

St. Clare was guided by St. Francis of Assisi from the tender age of 18 as a member of the Poor Ladies of San Daminio. One night, Assisi was under attack. Clare came out with the Blessed Sacrament and placed it on the wall of the city within view of the attackers. Clare then prayed asking the Lord to protect the sisters. In that moment, the attackers were frightened and retreated without harming anyone in Assisi.
